Training is one of the best methods of completing one's education, gaining knowledge, improving one’s skills and professional qualifications. Since the Institute of Plant Protection – National Research Institute co-operates with many outstanding specialist in the area of agriculture, it can organise many meetings the participants of which are mainly advisers and agricultural producers, inspectors of plant protection and seed production, employees of phytopharmaceutical companies, as well as academics and students of agricultural schools. Thanks to the training, it is possible to put the results of scientific research into the agricultural practice, to pass the current data to recipients from different regions of Poland, integrate the circles of persons engaged in agriculture, and last but not least to exchange opinions, confront experiences, discuss things among scientists, specialists and agricultural producers. For the dynamically changing and developing agriculture of today, this is vital.

Not only has the Institute of Plant Protection – NRI specialists and lecturers, it also has the Hotel IOR and Congress Centre with 14 conference rooms equipped with audio-visual devices (and the possibility to have simultaneous translations), over 60 rooms, as well as hotel, food and beverage services.

Topics of offered trainings:

  • Integrated agricultural plant protection.
  • Diagnostics, warning against, monitoring and combating pests (causing diseases, pests, weeds).
  • Biological methods in plant protection – ecological agriculture.
  • Protection of pollinators and care for biodiversity of the agricultural environment as an important element of the integrated plant protection.
  • Molecular techniques in diagnostics of pests.
  • Assessment of game damage.
