- Tests for active substances and contaminants in plant protection products (commercial products).
- Tests of physical and chemical properties of plant protection products.
- Tests of the quality of technical grade materials for making pesticide formulations.
- Good-Laboratory-Practice-conforming pesticide registration testing for the composition and physical and chemical properties of technical materials and formulations.
- Physical and chemical compatibility tests of ingredients for the combined use of agrochemicals.
Main achievements
- Establishment of an independent analytical laboratory specializing in the evaluation of plant protection products and of problems associated with their production, use, storage and possible environmental contamination.
- Equipping the laboratory with advanced research and measurement equipment.
- Development of a number of analysis methods for pesticide and technical concentrate formulations.
- Development of a quality control system for plant protection products and carrying out official annual checks together with the Main Plant Health and Seed Inspectorate.
- Numerous expert opinions on the quality of plant protection products, attesting expired products, and testing for counterfeit pesticides.
- Work conducted under the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) system.
