The Regional Experimental Station Institute of Plant Protection – NRI in Toruń specializes in the protection of sugar beet against pests. The research conducted in the station aims at identifying harmful organisms, assessing their harmfulness, along with determining effective ways of crop protection.

The results of the tests constitute a base for creating and updating the recommendations and methodologies of the integrated protection of sugar and fodder beet against pests.

The Field Experimental Station IPP – NRI in Toruń is engaged or participates in a few scientific and research topics within the statutory activities of the Multiannual Programme.
