Agricultural Experimental Station in Winna Góra runs their business activities on the area of 474 ha (field crops – 435 ha, meadows and grazing land – 39 ha). The most important plants in the crop rotation are: winter wheat (25%), winter oilseed rape (23%), corn for grain and ensilage (35%), sugar beet (5%) and the others constitute the rest of 5%. Apart from the plant production, there is also a herd of beef cattle breeds – 280 pieces. The production is based on the most up-to-date technologies, agricultural knowledge and the rules of integrated agriculture with special care for the protection of the local environment resources. Additionally, the station constitutes a base for field experiments initiated by IPP – NRI.
