  • Expert Centre of the Evaluation of Agrochemical Reports

Expert Centre of the Evaluation of Agrochemical Reports (ECORA) is a certified unit authorised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to work out evaluation and comments to the documentation concerning the registration of plant protection products, active substances, safeners or synergists, before they are introduced to the market and allowed to be used in the following areas:

  • effects of plant protection products on health of humans and animals resulting from the residues of these products in vegetable and animal-based food and fodder and on their surface,
  • effectiveness of plant protection products with the consideration of the adverse effects on plants or vegetable products,
  • physical, chemical and technical properties of plant protection products, including active substances,
  • the presence of plant protection products and its effects on the environment,
  • effects of plant protection products on organisms not being the aim of their application,
  • toxicology.

Art. 43, section 5, of the Plant Protection Act of 18 December 2003 (the Official Journal of Laws, Dz.U. of 2004, No. 11, item 94, as amended),

Order of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of 7 September 2007, on authorisation of organisational units to draw up reports on plant protection products (the Official Journal of Laws, Dz.U. of 2007, No. 189, item 1357),

Art. 43, pages 4-5, and Art. 51 of the Act of 4 March 2010 on rendering services on the territory of the Republic of Poland (the Official Journal of Laws, Dz.U. of 2010, No. 47, item 278),
